Carly Taylor

Carly qualified from the University of Manchester in 2004. She immediately immersed herself in further education and in 2008 successfully completed the examinations for membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Carly joined Andrew Shelley Dental Practitioners in May 2007.  She has a keen interest in dental education and in 2008 was appointed part time Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Manchester School of Dentistry. 

Carly is responsible for teaching final year dental students and prepares them for their final professional examinations.  She also assists more junior dental students in their preparation for their University assessments.

Services
Carly provides general family dentistry at the practice. She also has a special interest in Restorative Dentistry which involves the restoration and replacement of teeth.  Carly has a particular interest in Endodontics which is one of the disciplines within Restorative Dentistry.  This involves treatment of diseases of the tooth root.  Carly accepts referrals from local practitioners for Endodontics and other aspects of Restorative Dentistry

Postgraduate interests
Carly continues to involve herself in postgraduate study and will soon complete the Diploma in Postgraduate Dental studies of the University of Bristol and the Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice.
